Boettcher Memorial Tropical Conservatory : in the Denver Botanic Gardens

View of the interior of the Boettcher Memorial Tropical Conservatory (1964, Victor Hornbein and Edward D. White, Jr.) in the Denver Botanic Gardens, 1005 York Street, in the Cheesman Park neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. The roof of the conservatory is comprised of faceted Plexiglas panels between interlaced concrete arches. Shows a palm tree and climbing plants. The use of concrete is an architectural homage to the Boettcher Foundation, who funded the conservatory and whose money came in large part from the Ideal Cement Company.
