Ninth Street Historic Park : after restoration, Auraria Higher Education Center

View of the Ninth Street Historic Park (Auraria Ninth Street Historic District) located on the Auraria Higher Education Center Campus in Denver, Colorado. The houses (1873-1890) are identified (Left to right): the Mullen House (1061 Ninth [9th] St.); the Rundle House (1059 Ninth [9th] St.); the Young House (1051 Ninth [9th] St.); the Schulz Double House (1047/1045 [9th] NInth St.); the Wheeler-Griebling House (1041 Ninth [9th] St.); and the Gardner House (1033 Ninth [9th] St.). Features of these Victorian style buildings include mansard roofs, covered porches, scroll-sawn brackets, dormers and bays. Students sit on the grass inside the fenced park. Iron lamp posts with glass globes line the sidewalk.
