Samuel J. Gilmore House

View of the Samuel J. Gilmore House (1889; John J. Huddart, architect) at 2401 Emerson Street in the Five Points neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. Shows a two-story, brick, Queen Anne-style single family residence with rusticated stone trim, a Palladian window, a large roof dormer divided by a chimney and a small covered porch with a cross dormer roof. An African American woman with a baby and two African American girls are outside the house. The house is named after the original owner, Samuel Gilmore.
