Silver Square : 3333 Blake

Blake street elevation of the Silver Square Lofts, located at 3333 Blake Street in the Five Points neighborhood, Denver, Colorado. The early twentieth-century industrial building is constructed of red brick with a pediment and coursing. The building has a flat roof and double-hung sash windows and is part of a one block complex. Signs on the building read: "Engineers Manufacturers" and "Silver Engineering Works, Inc." Built in 1908 by Harold F. Silver, the company manufactured equipment for the sugar beet and sugar cane, mining, and oil industries. The complex of rehabilitated industrial and commercial structures now houses lofts, condominiums, and art studios. (Architects-Corallas & Hoskin Architects; Developer: Hanover/Erlich; 1987)
